On August 19th, 2023, a remarkable exhibition cricket match took place at the prestigious Toronto Cricket Club as a fundraiser event, all in support of young children battling the incurable illness of cancer in Sri Lanka. This heartwarming event will be marked as the second event organized by the Pretty in Pink team, aimed to provide vital assistance to cancer patients.

Pretty in Pink proudly welcomed two legendary cricketers, Mr. Roshan Mahanama and Mr. Chaminda Vaas, both members of Sri Lanka’s 1996 ICC World Cup-winning team, who joined the match. Their presence electrified the event, especially when the two legends took to the field for a friendly yet memorable game.

The day continued with a delightful buffet lunch, enjoyed by a large and enthusiastic gathering, and a grand awards ceremony for the players. The event concluded with the exciting auction of a signed souvenir bat by the two World Cup champions, creating lasting memories for all who attended.
